Katrine Moite is an award-winning maternity photographer based in New York City and the founder of Katrine Moite Photo Studio. As the studio’s lead maternity photographer and creative director, she defines its fine-art vision, lighting approach, and artistic direction.

Biography

Born in Ukraine and trained in law, Katrine Moite later relocated to New York City, where she established her own New York–based photography studio focused on fine-art maternity photography and visual storytelling centered on motherhood.

Her journey into photography began with humble beginnings and a deep desire to create meaningful, emotionally honest imagery. Starting with little more than a camera, two lenses, and a series of unpaid shoots, she set out to develop a distinct visual language rooted in intention, restraint, and emotional depth.

During the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Katrine took a decisive step into studio ownership, creating a dedicated creative space in Midtown Manhattan. Despite the uncertainty of the time, perseverance and clarity of vision guided her forward, ultimately leading to the expansion into a larger, purpose-built studio environment in New York City.

Her work has since received international recognition through numerous photography awards and honors, reflecting her continued commitment to fine-art maternity photography and thoughtful visual storytelling.
