Biography
Born in Ukraine and trained in law, Katrine Moite later relocated to New York City, where she established her own New York–based photography studio focused on fine-art maternity photography and visual storytelling centered on motherhood.
Her journey into photography began with humble beginnings and a deep desire to create meaningful, emotionally honest imagery. Starting with little more than a camera, two lenses, and a series of unpaid shoots, she set out to develop a distinct visual language rooted in intention, restraint, and emotional depth.
During the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Katrine took a decisive step into studio ownership, creating a dedicated creative space in Midtown Manhattan. Despite the uncertainty of the time, perseverance and clarity of vision guided her forward, ultimately leading to the expansion into a larger, purpose-built studio environment in New York City.
